Ashley Perez, the wife of American golfer Pat Perez, went on a bizarre Instagram rant on Saturday after witnessing several social media attacks. This took place hours after Pat’s commitment to the Saudi-backed LIV Tour was announced.
Perez, 46 became the latest PGA Tour pro to move to the controversial LIV league, which has a star-studded roster that includes Phil Mickelson, Dustin Johnson, Bryson DeChambeau and Patrick Reed. However, things were a bit different earlier as Perez was among the most outspoken ones when Mickelson first voiced his support for the rival tour despite the human-rights atrocities of the Saudis.
In her latest Instagram video, Ashley claimed that ace basketball player Michael Jordan had called Perez to assure the Arizona native that the ‘Jordan’ brand would remain his sponsor.
“So if anybody feels the need to say anything and I mean anything negative about Pat going to the LIV Tour, you will be blocked,” Ashley Perez said on the Instagram live video.

Perez, who reportedly received around AU$14.1 million to move over to the LIV Tour, will now be banned from the PGA Tour. He has earned approximately $39 million in his sporting career while the winner’s prize is $5.6 million in the ongoing controversial tournament.

She added: “Just like 200, maybe even 300 people already. And you’ll never be back in. Anyways that being said, I love you all, cherish you all ’till you say the same bulls*** that I don’t like. I don’t want it, I don’t need it, I will not accept it, I will not allow it in my world ever.
